Pomni escapes the Digital Circus, but brings it back to the real world. In the abandoned circus, she becomes a predatory puppet, forcing the night watchman to confront the truth that no one truly escapes. This shapes the character's distorted personality. - Security camera monitoring: The camera system isn't just used to monitor Pomni; it also displays distorted images, glitches, or entities that don't last long. Players must distinguish between real danger and illusions created by Digital Circus.
- Energy management: Electricity is a vital resource. Lights, doors, cameras, and the headset system all consume power. Overuse of cameras or excessive defense can deplete your energy before the night is over.
- Headset and spatial teleportation mechanics: In some situations, players are forced to activate their headset to jump to a different dimension where time, room layout, and Pomni's location are disrupted. This creates unexpected jumpscares and a feeling of losing control.
- Surviving each night: Each night, the rules change slightly: cameras are randomly disabled, reaction times are shorter, and Pomni appears earlier and more frequently. Players cannot apply a single strategy every night.
- Pomni's behavioral AI: Pomni doesn't move randomly. She reacts to the player's actions, camera-activation habits, door-closing times, or headset overuse. If she's read, Pomni will change her attack route to trick you.
