Five Nights Before Freddy's takes place before the events of Five Nights at Freddy's. Freddy Fazbear's Pizza closed after several incidents and is being prepared for reopening. The old animatronics are kept for testing under limited budget conditions.

Players take on the role of a night shift security guard, working from midnight to 6 am, monitoring the animatronics' activity. However, they gradually become abnormal, turning their shift into a dangerous battle for survival.

Messages From Phone Guy

Throughout the nights, Phone Guy will guide and explain the animatronics' behavior to the player. These dialogues aren't just simple instructions; they contain clues that make players question what's really going on in the restaurant.

Successful Survival in Five Nights Before Freddy's

• Security Camera System: Remember to monitor the location and behavior of the animatronics through cameras placed throughout the restaurant. Regularly checking the cameras helps detect danger early, but also consumes power.
• Power Management: Every action, such as turning on cameras or support systems, consumes power. When the power runs out, players are almost completely defenseless.
• No Protective Doors: During gameplay, completely closing doors is not allowed, forcing players to observe and react at the right time, increasing the tension.
• Power On/Off System: You need to decide when to use or turn off systems to save energy and prevent animatronics from approaching.
